History of Medicine and Ethics

The Department of Medical History and Ethics was established in 2017 within our Faculty. Medical Ethics aims at examining the reflections of scientific techniques and opportunities used in medicine on human values and teach them to the students of Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry during the education period. It deals with how to approach the ethical problems that arise in doctor-doctor and doctor-patient relationships in the clinical branches and the possible solutions are discussed. 

History of Medicine examines the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches that have started with the history of humanity, the developments in the historical process and the distance that medicine has covered to the present day.
