Department of Biostatistics and Medical InformaticsThe basis of scientific studies is the collection of the data of the research and analysis of these data by using appropriate mathematical and statistical methods. The application of mathematics and statistics to health sciences has led to the emerge of Biostatistics Science. The use of Biostatistics in planning and analysing the results of scientific activities will increase the scientific nature and quality of the study.Our aim is to teach the basic concepts of Biostatistics methodology to the students of the Faculty of Medicine of Beykent University to enable them to plan a scientific research, make statistical analysis, prepare a report and be a good doctor. Another main aim of ours is to contribute to the improvement of the scientific value of the studies carried out within our University.Asst.
