Department of Medical Microbiology

Medical Microbiology is one of the main disciplines in the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases. As the key to being able to stand out in the ongoing battle with microorganisms that are the basis of these diseases that cause deaths of millions of people every year, our Department is equipped with the latest information required in the field, observes with researches and thus provides world-class quality services to Beykent University.

Beykent University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Microbiology is a department which focuses on education and research. In addition to the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Health Sciences are offered lectures on microbiology. The subjects explained in the theoretical courses are reinforced with the applications in our multidisciplinary laboratories equipped with the latest technology and our students are provided with a better understanding of the issues. Our faculty members conduct research projects on current issues and encourage students to participate in research projects within the framework of the available facilities.
